Please support our incredible friend Cherie Eastcott

Hi, my name is Alanah and I'm trying to help ease the burden for Cherie Eascott and her family with her upcoming double transplant and lengthy recovery.

In 2021 Cherie got the news her kidney function was decreasing. Over the past few years it has rapidly declined despite every effort to save them. Cherie is currently in stage 5 renal failure is on the wait list for a double transplant, which we are hoping will occur this year. The operation can only be performed in Sydney and requires an 8 week stay providing there is no conplications. During this time as her support person, her partner Ben will need to be present with her in Sydney and when she returns home for around the clock care while she recovers. Without a support person she would be ineligible for the lifesaving transplant.

As you can imagine this is already a scary and stressful situation for Cherie, Ben and their 3 children without the added financial burden involved as Ben will have to take a considerable amount of unpaid time off work. As we all know bills don't stop rolling in and there will be added expenses relating to the transplant so I'm inviting everyone to chip in even just a little bit to help this family through this unimaginable situation.
