For nearly 30 years, our family home in Queens, New York, has been more than just a house. It has been the place where we created memories, celebrated birthdays and holidays, gathered as a family, raised our children, and shared countless moments filled with love.

Sadly, after years of severe and repeated street flooding, our home suffered devastating structural damage. On August 20, 2026, another major flooding event caused approximately three feet of water to accumulate in the street, resulting in the collapse of part of our basement wall and leaving the structure severely compromised.

Despite our family and our experienced engineers and contractors working to find ways to safely stabilize and repair the home, the property was ultimately demolished by the NYC Department of Buildings.

In a matter of days, our family lost the home we had known for nearly three decades, along with personal belongings and irreplaceable memories that can never be replaced.

Now, we are facing the heartbreaking reality of rebuilding our family home from the ground up.
