Hi everyone, I’m writing this for my brother, Vince and his wife, Shirlene.  

My brother fell Friday late morning approximately 15 ft+ off of a roof onto his back on his first day of work.  He was rushed to ER and a CT scan showed a shattered vertebrae which had caused damage to his spinal cord.  He was rushed into emergency surgery and his vertebrae was repaired.  He can feel his legs, although they are numb and tingly,  but continues to be unable to move them.  Doctor has said that he has a long road ahead of him and more assessments today have continued to show a delay in a response from his lower body.  He is in ICU but will be moved to the 8th floor to better assess his rehab skills.  From there, then possibly move down the street to an inpatient rehab facility. Many tears have flowed and he has had wonderful nurses and doctors on his team encouraging him!  He has prayed for faith and strength in whatever this all my mean.  He and Shirlene appreciate everyone’s concerns and prayers.  If you feel and are able to help, I know they would appreciate all.
