Hello everyone,

As many of you know, my name is Adrianna. I am the youngest daughter of Clarence and Rita Boone.

Over the past year, my sister Julianna and I have been put to the limits on what strength looks like, it’s came with stressful challenges and overwhelming obstacles.

In September 2024, we lost our mom to pancreatic cancer. It was a long battle, but we were grateful to have her for as long as we did. She was and will always be the rock to our family, and our father the man that held us all together. So why the post today?

In April 2025, we were blessed to have my daughter, Pearl, enter our lives and bring happiness to our family. Our Fathers first grandchild! We finally had something to celebrate, but shortly after her birth, we noticed our dad going downhill. After many tests and waiting for specialist appointments, he was admitted to the hospital on July 1 with a Mass in his liver.

CANCER! Cholangiocarcinoma, a bile duct cancer that can affect, the gallbladder, liver and bile ducts. How can this be happening again? After a month in the hospital fighting infections, Doctors have concluded that there is nothing more that can be done for our Dad. It’s only been a month, we didn’t even get to fight, can This really be?It’s heart breaking to find out in less then a year of losing our Mother we will now lose our Father to a disease the shows no mercy. Doctors have moved Dad into palliative/hospice care. We weren’t ready for this, we aren’t ready for this. God will always provide us with the strength, but this soon! It’s currently unimaginable.

So why the post? The simple answer we need help,In this economy it’s not easy. Our Dad has provided for us for years, but sadly, he does not have life insurance himself. As we plan the loss of our father, we want to keep him happy, reduce stress, and mostly help pay for his end-of-life celebration.

My dad wishes to be cremated and brought back to Newfoundland, where he started life in 1949.

If you are able to share this post to help our family enjoy the time we have left and give dad the closing chapter he deserves and wishes for. Most of you will be people we know, and some of you are complete strangers with huge hearts. Regardless, we Thank You the same.

Your kindness will be used to help with his health. It will also cover the necessary materials for his care, such as bed pads, bed wipes, diapers, and finally his end of life celebration.

We can never express our gratitude enough for your kindness and assistance. There is no obligation to help, a kind message or simple prayer is just as great. You can also share this message if you wish.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your understanding and support during this difficult time
