Please support my friend Jolie to finance Bosangani Festival

Hi, my name is Boglárka, and I'm fundraising for my dear friend, Jolie Ngemi. She is a wonderful colleague, dancer, and choreographer who has organized the Bosangani Festival of Dance every year since 2020.

This year's festival will take place in Kinshasa, Congo, from September 15th to 21st. It is one of the largest dance events in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

I've supported her initiative from the beginning and would love for more of you to support this important event. "Bosangani" means "gathering" in Lingala one of the four national languages in DRC.

The festival has created opportunities for local dancers to take workshops, Masterclasses by international and local mentors to professionals, shows, concerts, constructive debates, urban performances to reach new audiences, all-style hip hop battles and build a strong community over the years.

Unfortunately, the festival has received less financial support from international partners and institutions this year, but Jolie is so passionate about making the festival happen that she has decided to co-finance part of it. Even with her support, it's crucial to help her raise additional funds to cover festival and organizational costs. Even small contributions can be significant, so please chip in whatever you can.

The funds will be sent to a German bank account set up for this fundraiser. This will ensure that all transfers are completed easily before the start of the festival, when the funds will be sent to Bosangani's local account in Kinshasa. Thank you for your help.
