Please support Mel, Matt and little Ed

Last Thursday the 11th of May, our Mel was given the most unexpected, unimaginable news. Mel has terminal cancer. Her predicted life expectancy is just 12 months to 3 years.

Mel has already undergone numerous tests, scans and invasive procedures. Words alone cannot describe the magnitude of shock, anger and sadness which has rippled through our family and friends. 

We are raising funds to support Mel, her partner Matt and their beautiful 2 year old son, Edward. This will allow them to maximise their time together, to go on adventures, to make more memories and to have the support to take on each day as it comes. Most importantly, providing Mel with some comfort and reassurance knowing her beautiful boy Ed will be somewhat prepared for life without her, without his Mummy.

They have a tough road ahead, which would be slightly eased with some financial support, especially with numerous medical expenses, including chemotherapy and radiotherapy. The funds will provide Mel with the option to ease up on work if she wishes, focus on her wellbeing, and spend quality time with her loved ones. It will also provide Matt with some flexibility to have time away from work to be with Mel and Eddy.

Our girl is a strong willed, determined, devoted and passionate Mum, partner, daughter, sister, daughter in law, sister in law and friend.
