Finally, I’m heading into what I hope will be the final chapter of recovery after the most difficult period of my life.
This new chapter means moving back home to Nelson County and living with my aunt, because I can no longer afford rent. I’ve lost my job and my home — but I haven’t lost my family. Their support has been an incredible gift, and I’m deeply grateful for it.
While rent will no longer be a factor because of my aunt’s generosity, the cost of living hasn’t stopped. I’m still facing monthly expenses like car payments, car insurance, and my phone bill, along with basic daily needs, while I continue healing and work toward being able to return to work.
I’ve been in this position before, and it’s humbling to be here again. If you’re able to help, please know that any donation, no matter the size, truly means more than I can put into words. Sharing this campaign is also a huge help.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for being part of what’s getting me through this final chapter.
