My name is Matthew Barton. My fiancée, Alyssa Rodrigues, and I are blessed with three beautiful children - Malayna, Hayden, and our newest joy, Arya Renée.

On October 30th, 2025, I went to the ER with severe stomach pains and bloat. What I thought would be a routine visit turned into the hardest day of my life. I was diagnosed on November 7th then with stage 4 lymphoma, a cancer that affects white blood cells and has spread beyond my lymph nodes.

After numerous tests and biopsies, I began my chemotherapy. Complications during and after my body’s first response to chemo kept me in the hospital for 30 days ( October 30 - November 29 ) and while I am home for now continuing treatment, I am still unable to work for 6 months / 1 year. In the meantime every cent to any dollar will help provide for my family.

This year has brought both heartbreak and hope. I lost my job of six years in January and received a devastating diagnosis later in November. Yet on February 28th, I was given the greatest gift god could offer - the birth of my daughter Arya.

Anyone who knows me know that I take pride in providing for my family and rarely ask for help. But right now, I cannot do this alone. We cannot do this alone.
