I am Sarah Petit and this GoFundMe is for my aunt, Mary Oliver. Anyone that knows her already knows she is the most giving and caring woman.

My mom told her that her song should be Tracy Lawrence's, "Find out who your friends are." If you know the song that is definitely Mary. She never wants anything in return. Mary has always helped anyone she can.

Mary and her husband, Robert have come upon hard times this year. She found out in March she was going to lose half of her foot. Four months later she lost half of her other foot. Infection set in 3 weeks after that and now this week she lost half of her leg.

The night before her surgery, Mary was sitting in her hospital room with her sisters. She wasn't complaining about her situation. Mary was praying for the man in the next room over. He was crying out in pain for anyone who could hear. That is Mary.

Mary has always taken care of people. She and Robert had a loved one that they took care of in their home, and during all of this he passed away. This was extremely hard on them. He has been with her family for the past 34 years. Shortly after he passed, she and Robert lost a son to cancer. This is all too much for anyone to handle.

Mary is leaving the hospital this week and going to a step-down unit. She is going to need a prosthetic, custom shoes, medical equipment, and physical therapy, among many other things.

The cost of medical expenses has become a towering hurdle for my aunt and uncle. I am humbly asking for donations to help Aunt Mary and Uncle Robert get through this difficult time. Please also keep Mary in your prayers. God bless.
