On Friday the 18th, Luke was hiking in Yosemite with a group of friends when a bear happened upon their trail. Luke noticed he had caught the bear’s interest and ran away from his friends. This lead him to the edge of the trail. With no where else to turn the bear forced him off the edge resulting in serious injury including a broken femur, spine, hip, and a collapsed and punctured lung. We are trying to raise money for emergency transport, a hospital bed for their home, and medical expenses not covered by insurance.
