Hi, my name is Louise Normandin. I am a childless Canadian widow living on my own in Las Palmas de Gran Canaría. 

I have recently been diagnosed with stage-3 inflammatory breast cancer requiring a radical mastectomy with the removal of several lymph nodes. 

My doctors at Hospital San Roque are also urging me to receive at least one of various chemo/radiation treatment options. My decision will be based on my quality of life prognosis, including logistical and financial considerations.

While recovering from surgery (and/or undergoing chemo/radiation) I will need to either reside in a care facility or have a private caregiver come to my apartment. However, I won’t be able to afford these services without your help.
