Please help us support Lou in his battle with Cancer

Anyone who knows Lou knows he will do anything to help anyone. His selflessness has shown care to so many. He is the sweetest, most kind husband, father, Pop-Pop, Uncle, and friend. He is also the most humble, often not recognizing just how much he does for everyone.

Lou was diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma in 2023 in his right nasal cavity. He had to undergo facial surgery and numerous rounds of radiation. During this time, Lou continued to work, taking only minimum PTO.

2 weeks ago, Lou received the news that the cancer has returned and with a vengeance. After receiving a clear scan just 3 months ago, the recent MRI results confirm it is back and very aggressive. It is now in his left nasal cavity, sinus, and has even spread into his eye socket. Causing unrelenting pressure and pain.

He has been plagued by constant, severe headaches, blurred vision, pain in his left eye and face, and bouts of dizziness. With the tumor also comes blockage of the tear duct. This has caused a constant running of tears, which has lead to irritation and discomfort every day, all day.

Lou will need a biopsy and PET scan before another very extensive surgery. He is now out of work due to all of the issues and several appointments leading up to his confirmed surgery date. This has caused a great amount of stress on him and Susan as the medical bills are and will continue to pile up.

Many people have reached out and asked how they can help. We feel the best way would be for all of us to assist with the financial burden as Lou awaits his surgery, treatments, and recovery.
