Please support medical costs for Nikki Cicero

Update: We are so sorry to let everyone know that Nikki passed away on 18 December 2024. We will really miss her If you would still like to donate to cover the substantial costs of her airlift to Miami and subsequent care, her friends and family would be most grateful. The doctors did everything they could, but unfortunately, it was not to be. Thanks to everyone who contributed so far to the massive cost of this effort. ❤️

Nikki has been part of the St. Croix community for many years, and many will remember her big heart and mighty spirit from meeting her over the years at Teres Vejo/ Freedom City Surf Boardshop and Grill and Cottages by the Sea. A few years ago, Nikki suffered a stroke and had been working really hard at her physical therapy to regain her independence. Her beloved dog, Nixon, has always been protectively by her side. On 7 August, Nikki suffered a serious medical setback and required an airlift to Miami later in September to get the care she needed. She is making good progress and receiving excellent care at a specialized long-term facility near Miami.

Nikki's family and friends are organizing this fundraiser as Nikki’s medical costs have been substantial (especially for the airlift that saved her life). Her family (mom Geri and sister Pi) and friends would so appreciate any support you might be able to give. Your contribution will make a big difference in relieving the stress caused by these medical costs.
