Please Support Leslie as She Goes Head-to-Head with Cancer
Whether you can donate, share words of encouragement, offer prayers, or simply spread the word, your kindness will make a difference. Please consider sharing Leslie’s story far and wide on your social media platforms.
My name is Rick, and I’m fundraising for my dear friend, Leslie. Leslie is a 60-year-old single mother of two adult children, Forrest and Meg. My wife, Gina, and I first met Leslie about 15 years ago while mountain biking with a group of friends. It didn’t take long before she became part of our “mountain biking family,” and over the years, she’s become one of our closest friends.
Leslie is an amazing woman—always bubbly, happy, and optimistic. She’s the kind of person who would do anything for you, and she lives life to the fullest. She’s one of the most active people we know, usually outdoors every single day.
But life can change in an instant. Late last year, Leslie was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She’s endured surgery and treatments, and while the journey has been tough, she has remained strong, upbeat, and determined to win this fight.
Her doctors have now advised her to take time off work to allow her body to fully heal after everything it’s been through. Unfortunately, this time away from work—combined with a backlog of medical bills—has created a significant financial burden.
Leslie would never ask for help herself, but she has always been the first to show up for others. Now, it’s our turn to show up for her. If you’ve ever wondered how you could support her, this is one way to help lift the weight off her shoulders so she can focus entirely on her recovery.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for reading Leslie’s story and for any donation, prayer, or share you can offer. Your support truly means the world.
With gratitude,
