Hello Everyone,
My name is Charlie Ayers and I am a Life Skills Teacher at Pacifica High School in Garden Grove, California. About one month ago, I received the devastating news that one of my students has been diagnosed with cancer. The type of cancer is called B-Cell Lymphoblastic Leukemia and she is currently hospitalized.
We urgently need your support for Leslie Arredondo-Lopez. Leslie is an individual with Down syndrome and has prior health issues that put her at high risk for complications. Leslie has a significant medical history including her Down syndrome diagnosis, global delays, heart defect, one functional kidney, and hypothyroidism. Leslie is still in the hospital as we speak and we are not sure when she will be discharged to go home. Leslie and her family need our support as they have shifted their lives completely to support Leslie and take care of her needs.
Leslie is experiencing symptoms such as body aches, headaches, nausea, appetite loss, difficulty sleeping, hair loss, and emotional stress.
Leslie is an extremely happy and sweet student who loves to be social with her peers and everyone else she encounters. I can't imagine the pain she is going through with her treatments and also not being around the people she loves at school. All proceeds will go directly to Leslie's family to help them pay for all medical bills and living expenses. Thanks in advance for donating and helping out the Arredondo-Lopez family during this extremely difficult time.
