Hello friends & family!
My birthday is this Saturday, and I’m reaching out to you with a request.
If you don’t know, I have been charged with two felonies and one misdemeanor for urging Ogle County Sheriff’s officers to do their job, go out to steer tailing events in Rochelle, Illinois to arrest criminals who are tormenting, overworking, mutilating, paralyzing, and denying veterinary care to steers and horses.
A warrant was even issued for my arrest – for simply calling and urging them to stop illegal animal torture!
But they won’t arrest the men who are literally shattering animals legs and limbs and ripping their tails off their bodies!
You may also know that back in April, when the Chicago Alliance for Animals arrived at our peaceful protest against The Animal Store, a very unhinged person sprayed the back of my head with a strong stream of a hose from a balcony.
She also attempted to destroy my property by spraying my phone, bag, signs, speaker, and microphone. Long story short, she pled liable for her crime.
I never knew this lunatic’s name until she was charged with battery for assaulting me. I’ve never gone to her home or business, called, texted, emailed, nor contacted her on social media, yet she has somehow filed a restraining order against me and accused me of stalking her – because CAA peacefully protests outside the menagerie called The Animal Store.
It’s absolutely insane!
So, my life is a bit crazy and upside down right now, but that’s what happens when animal abusers and exploiters want to shut up determined animal advocates.
You may recall Chicago’s horse carriage operators threatened to sue us too, but that didn’t stop me and CAA’s dedicated team!
And it won’t deter me now - I will not quit and these are just minor inconveniences taking time away from the animals.
