Dear Friends,

My husband, Robert Sherman, age 73, had a stroke on December 1st, 2024. Prior to this Robert was healthy and strong, so this was both shocking and devastating. I am 78, and a retired hospice chaplain. Robert was supporting the two of us as a full-time massage therapist and healer. Now he is unable to work.

Robert was hospitalized and received intensive care. He is currently in an acute rehabilitation center. Once he is released, he will come home and I will be his caregiver.

Based on Robert’s disabilities as a result of this stroke, he will not be able to work for a long time. The neurologist said it is unclear how long, or whether he will regain full function of all his faculties.

We have very little savings, and now we have no income. We need a way to cover rent, health insurance, food, and other basic living expenses.

Robert has spent his life helping others. Now he is the one in need of help and healing. As we face the first steps in this new journey, Robert and I would be very grateful for any financial assistance you are able to give. No amount is too small. We deeply appreciate your support.
