Hi everyone.

I am creating this donation account on behalf of our friend, Julie Gudz. She is a wonderful person who is always there to help anyone in need. Today, its Julie that is in desperate need of our support!

She is suffering from an awful hardship related to the heavy rainstorm that occurred on Monday, July 14, 2025. Our area had 6 inches of rain, with 5 inches falling in just 1.5 hours. Due to this storm, Julie's home suffered tremendous damage and at this point, it looks like it cannot be salvaged. Unfortunately, water damage has caused the house to come off of its foundation and it is currently only standing b/c of emergency support beams.

She is on borrowed time with experts saying the cement slabs in the back of the house are still floating on water. Only 20% are on the ground and once these go down, the house is going down. Her sump pumps and water system are filled with mud and no longer working. There is more rain in our forecast and there is great risk that the cement will cave in. The insurance company has denied any coverage for this disaster.

Unfortunately, there are extremely limited funds available at this time. Julie has contacted our local government representatives as well as Lehigh Emergency Relief and the Red Cross. No one has been able to help.

Her home is currently unsafe to enter and certainly uninhabitable. She is out of options.

I am asking that you please consider donating to help her get her bearings while she tries to navigate this challenge. She is in need of immediate resources to help her find a safe place to stay and to secure her home.
