Please help support Julianna and Iris Salgado as they grieve the loss of their beloved grandmother, Carole.

Carole was a loving grandmother to her own grandchildren and to everyone who knew her. She deeply loved her family and her faith, and her light lives on through her strong and beautiful grandchildren, who continue to keep her love alive. Carole had an immense love for Elvis and was never afraid to let anyone know it. Her presence and light will be missed more than words can express.

After the passing of Julianna and Iris’s mother during Covid, Carole and Julianna raised Iris together. For the past several years, Julianna has been Iris’s legal guardian and has taken on the responsibility of caring for her each day, making sure she is fed, supported, and able to attend school. Iris is 11 years old, attends BOCES, and is on the autism spectrum.

Alongside caring for Iris, Julianna also helped care for her grandmother. With Carole’s passing, Julianna is now facing the painful reality of continuing to care for Iris on her own while grieving the loss of someone who meant so much to them both.
