House destroyed by fire Jim & Tammy Fleckenstein
On August 20, 2020, long time residents, Jim and Tammy Fleckenstein, lost their home to the Sheep Fire, in Lassen County, CA. It was known as “that yellow house on the side of the mountain” - up on the top of of Old Archery, Children’s and Old Scott’s Logging Road.
It was built with his own hands, along with his children and many members of our community. We are all heartbroken. Due to unforeseen circumstances, they did not have fire insurance. They have lost everything.
Jim worked for Citizen’s Utilities for years, and loves Lassen Football Grizzlies! Tammy is a well-know artist, known for painting on store front windows for the Lassen County Fair, Christmas and other holidays. She is full of love and compassion.
