Please Support Jerry's Path to Recovery

Our friend Jerome (Jerry) recently experienced two devastating tragedies. While visiting his brother Matt in Florida, Jerry witnessed a tragic accident that took Matt's life. Just days after returning home to Brooklyn, Jerry suffered a severe stroke, leaving him partially paralyzed and unable to speak.

His recovery is showing promising signs of progress! The first three to six months after a stroke are crucial for recovery, and Jerry is already demonstrating significant improvements. His ability to speak words clearly and his efforts to engage in conversations are an excellent sign. He has also regained some mobility on the right side of his body.

Still, he is likely facing a long road to recovery, including extensive rehabilitation and speech therapy. While insurance will cover some expenses, there will be significant out-of-pocket costs for specialized care, medical equipment, and potential home modifications.
