Please Support Jeff's Cancer Medicine Fund

Hello Everyone. My name is Diane Wilkerson, and I have started this GoFundMe to help support a wonderful family in our community that would never ask for help themselves.

 

Jeff and Brooke Mardesich have lived in Gridley, CA, their entire lives and are the proud parents of four exceptional children.  They have been very active in various clubs and activities and have done more than their fair share of supporting others. Now the tables have turned, and they need our help.

 

In November of 2020, at the age of 51, Jeff was diagnosed with Stage 4 of a rare strain of colon cancer. The family immediately started treatment, but unfortunately, those avenues have been exhausted. Last month, UCSF offered Jeff medicine that has made an enormous difference and has improved his quality of life.  The only drawback is that it costs $28,000 a month, and it is not covered by insurance! This fundraiser is to help purchase this medication for Jeff.

 

So, I ask that people step up and help this family that has always been so selfless in supporting others but would NEVER ask for help themselves. Contributions can also be made directly to Jeff and Brooke Mardesich at the Bank of the West in Gridley. Your donations and your prayers are so appreciated.

Backstory for gofundme:  I have known Jeff and Brooke for over 25 years and consider them very close friends.  We all live in the small community of Gridley and pulling together to make a difference is what we do.
