As you all may know, we lost a wonderful person last night. 1-28-18
Jay Palmer was an amazing husband, father, grandfather and friend.
He fought this evil cancer for 6 long years. He was the toughest fighter I have ever known.
Mom and dad were together 51 years, raised 4 kids and was blessed with 8 grandkids., whom he loved with all his heart.
I remember the good times and the hard times, all the ups and all the downs, even to the point of almost getting a divorce and the judge saying he couldn’t grant it because he can tell they just wasn’t ready for that. So that tells me they were honestly soulmates to be together til death so them part.
Today, we are all feeling numb and in disbelief, our heart is breaking for mom. She is so lost and afraid of the future without her husband . He handled everything for her. He truly took great care of her. “How am I going to survive” is all she keeps saying. Now that dad is gone mom will need help emotionally and financially, she has lost the majority of her income and there was no life insurance policy in place. She has to move out of her home she shared her life in with dad. Because her income alone doesn’t cover all the bills, and to have to deal with making arrangements for dad is beyond imaginable, we are reaching out to our friends, family and community to ask for any kind of help that you can give. Its very difficult for us to ask for it but it’s much appreciated and we thank all of you in advance.
