Support Hunter’s Olympic Journey!

Growing up across the street from the world-famous X Games superpipe at Buttermilk Mountain, Hunter’s passion for freestyle skiing began early. With the guidance of his Aspen Valley Ski Club coaches and the

support of his family and community, he’s become one of the top halfpipe skiers in the country.

Last season, Hunter competed in every FIS World Cup event as a ski club member—traveling to New Zealand, China, Canada, and the U.S.—and finished the year ranked 28th in the world. He also placed 5th overall in the North American NorAm Cup and defended his title as U.S. National Champion in the Open Men’s Division.

This season, Hunter is training with both the U.S. Ski Team and an international group of elite athletes and coaches in Cardrona, New Zealand, and Kitzsteinhorn, Austria. He is working hard to prepare for the 2025–26 World Cup and Olympic qualifying season. Hunter is currently on the U.S. Ski Team’s long list of potential Olympic qualifiers, with major competitions ahead in China, Copper Mountain, Calgary, and Buttermilk leading up to Olympic Team selection on January 11th in Aspen. After the Olympics, Hunter will represent the United States at the FIS Park & Pipe Junior World Championships in Calgary, followed by the last World Cup competition in Switzerland in March. Between these events are 3 NorAm stops along the way, it’s an incredibly

busy—and exciting—season.

Reaching this level requires tremendous dedication—and significant financial support. Annual training, travel, and competition costs exceed $60,000. While Hunter receives partial support, he relies on community

contributions to pursue his dream.
