Update from Grace:

To say that I’m overwhelmed would be a huge understatement! I cannot thank all of you enough! I will do my best to keep you updated on my recovery! It’s going to a be a long journey. Thank you all again for being so supportive!

Hey guys, I’m Nikki, Graces daughter. For those that don’t know, my mom fell and broke her femur and ankle yesterday 2/22/25.

Being a server, that means no work for a very long time. At best, 6 months of recovery. Surgery is tomorrow, we don’t know much beyond that at the moment.

We’ve always been very independent and hate asking for help. We agreed together to swallow that pride and ask the community and loved ones for help.

If anyone has the means, please help my mom with these medical bills and keeping her home while she recovers. That house has been in the family since the 70s. My grandmother built it with her own 2 hands. We can’t stand the thought of losing it. I also can’t stand the thought of my mom carrying these bills while she can’t even get out of bed.

If you don’t know my mom I’ll fill you in from my perspective. She is the rock in my family. Out of everyone in my life, she has always had my back and been there for me no matter what. She has supported me thru thick n thin. Anytime I have a problem she has the answer or solution. I’ve given her grand babies that she is now the rock for as well. She has taken care of me, and my family, in ways I’ll never be able to repay her for. She has always been a phone call away and Nana-to-the-rescue. But right now, she needs the rescue. She needs the support. Seeing her in this pain is so hard. From me, personally, please help my mom. She deserves the world. She gives and gives and never asks for anything. So I’ll ask for her, please, help her in this time.
