Hello,

I'm Gerry Malone. I'm the single father of Lamont Meeks, who is an adult with autism. Because I am unable to find regular employment, I drive rideshare for Uber to support me and my son Lamont. I've recently fallen upon hard times and continue to drive for Uber to support Lamont and me. Today, July 19th, my car would not start as I was preparing to drive Uber for the evening. I have limited funds and I am unable to afford to send my car to the mechanic. I've started this GoFundMe fundraiser to get my car repaired so that I may continue to support Lamont and pay our rent, which is due on the 1st.

Currently, I am destitute and we need help.

More information about Lamont: I met his mother, Tiffany, when Lamont was 4 years old. We dated and eventually married. With that, I became Lamont's stepdad. Unfortunately, tragedy struck in October 2011 when Tiffany passed away from illness, leaving me to raise Lamont. He was only 12 years old at the time.

Since then, it has only been Lamont and me. He's been my focus as a single father. It's now 14 years later and Lamont is 26. He runs the SLN YouTube channel. His channel is a faceless channel where he posts short videos of logos, which have always been his obsession, going back to when he played with the Magna Doodle. Lamont is my heart and soul. He's not my biological son; however, I have raised him with love because it hasn't mattered to me that I am not his biological father.
