Hi Everyone,
I'm reaching out because my brother, Ellis (or Coach Green, as many of you know him), recently faced a life-changing challenge. Many of you know Ellis as a Moorpark High graduate and a dedicated high school football coach for Hueneme, Oaks Christian, Westlake, Simi, the 101 Warriors, and now Oak Park. He's also managed the Canyon Club and has always been a big part of our community, constantly giving back and supporting others.
Recently, Ellis suffered a serious infection that led to the loss of his lower leg. It's been a tough time for him and our family, and the road to recovery will be long and expensive. From medical bills to rehab and a prosthetic, he has a lot ahead of him.
We're asking for any help you can provide to make his recovery easier, get him back on the field, and return to the Canyon Club soon. Every bit of support will go directly toward his medical expenses, rehabilitation, and the equipment he needs.

- Lost Income: Varies, but average short-term disability payments are often 50-60% of normal salary.
Health Insurance Gaps:
- Co-Pays and Deductibles: Annual costs can range from $2,000 - $10,000 depending on the insurance plan.
- Non-Covered Items: Out-of-pocket expenses for uncovered prosthetics or therapies could add $10,000 - $50,000.
