Just about a month ago, Brunhildah Anyango arrived in the United States, filled with hope and determination to begin a new chapter as a special education teacher. She was eager to make a difference in the lives of middle school students with a wide range of disabilities. Her heart was set on building a brighter future for her family, but her dreams were suddenly shattered by devastating news from home. Brunhildah’s husband, Erick, was tragically killed in a horrific accident in Kenya, turning her world upside down in an instant.

Erick was a kind, loving, and dedicated husband and father. He was also the main provider for their family. Together, he and Brunhildah opened their home and hearts to two adopted children, in addition to caring for their own. Erick was known as a pillar in the community, always ready to support extended family and anyone in need. His sudden loss has left Brunhildah and their five children heartbroken and facing severe financial hardship. Now, Brunhildah urgently needs to travel back to Kenya to be with her children and lay her beloved husband to rest.
