Please Support Blind Athlete's Team USA Journey

My name is Tracey, and I am both totally blind and a competitive dragon boat athlete. I am trying out for the first-ever Team USA Paradragons and I need your help!

If selected, I will represent the United States and compete in the 2023 International Dragon Boat Federation World Dragon Boat Championships (IDBF) in Pattaya, Thailand this August 7-13, 2023, with other top paddlers from across the country.

While this is a great honor and dream come true for me, it is also a large financial commitment. We must attend several tryouts and camps to be selected and learn to blend (work together) as a team.

In the past few years, I have worked hard with my home team, the Out of Sight Dragons of the DC Dragon Boat Club, to earn gold medals at Club Crew Nationals, and silver and bronze at last year’s Club Crew World Championships. Team USA Paradragons, here I come!

Cost to attend are estimated to be around $6,000 most of which will be travel costs. If you are able to donate any amount to help me with this once in a lifetime journey, please donate to my GoFundMe fundraiser. It would be much appreciated.
