On August 21st, our family was blessed with a beautiful baby girl — born a month and a half early via emergency C-section. Weighing just 2 lbs 15 oz, she came into this world much sooner than expected, but she’s already showing us what a fighter she is. She is strong and breathing great on her own — a true miracle. We give God all the praise!
Right now, she is in the NICU at Cabell Huntington Hospital, where she will need to stay for an unknown amount of time to continue growing and receiving the special care she needs. Her parents — my son and his fiancée — are staying as close to her as they can, doing everything in their power to support her through this journey.
This all came during an already very difficult time. My son recently lost his job, and with the unexpected early arrival, they are facing significant financial stress. They’re hoping to be accepted into the Ronald McDonald House to stay near the hospital, but even with that support, they still have daily expenses for food, gas, personal items, and bills at home. While the baby’s mother is still in the hospital recovering she is receiving meals, some of which is not to her liking but my son is not — and they are struggling just to make ends meet.
We’re reaching out to ask for any support — whether that’s through a donation or simply sharing this page. Every little bit helps
With all thanks to God, Their little girl is already proving how strong she is. With love, care, and a little help, we know she can get through this — and so can her parents.
Thank you for your love, prayers, and support during this difficult and emotional time. It means the world to our family.
