Update: It is with deep sympathy that I share that Kevin passed from this life on Sunday evening. Many are asking how they can help or what they can do. I am posting on behalf of Lea and her family as they spend time grieving and planning. Kevin was well loved by many and his testimony reached far and wide As a high school orchestra instructor, he touched many lives, and we grieve along with the family as this is a great loss.

Kevin and Lea Black are dear long time friends of our family. Many of you know that Kevin has been fighting a rare Sarcoma since 2016. He has been in and out of the hospital since December 28th and is currently hospitalized again at MD Anderson. Kevin and Lea have stood strong during this journey, asking and believing for a full and complete healing, and are continuing to do so.

Lea would never ask for help, so we’re asking on her behalf. They have been very private throughout this journey, walking with Grace and Faith every step of the way.

As you can imagine, the medical bills are insurmountable. Just parking and meals during all of the hospital stays has been very expensive. If you feel inspired to help financially, we would be very blessed and honored. As they aren’t spending much time at home, gift cards for meals would also be helpful.
