I have never been so open with my personal life as I am now. I feel so brokenhearted to be at this point, where I am reaching out, asking for help. I have asked for prayers and still want them, always but now... I need to ask for any type of help that will see me through this trying time in my life.

I was recently diagnosed with breast cancer.
I... am trying to take it one day at a time. I have good moments and of course, some not so ok.
Before this, I had become a caretaker for my friend's mother. I literally stopped my life to take care of her, moving into a room in the first floor of her two story home, completely cut off from my family and really, just upending my life. Today, this friend came to me and told me I had two weeks to find somewhere else to stay.

I have yet to get the MRI and know that surgery is coming. I have my son, seventeen, working every day to save every last penny and still, when I asked him what we will do, he said he cannot do it on his own.
He stepped up when he found out about my situation. Helped me with my diet (which raised my anemia levels) and my anxiety. I felt like he moved mountains for me.
Because of this diagnosis, it feels like my friend washed her hands of me. Told me she and her brothers found a replacement.
I had thought about the prospect when I was first offered, not entirely thinking of where I would go once her mother passed but seeing it as the opportunity that it was. Truthfully, I didn't have a place to call my own. I had lived with my sister for two years before this position. I just didn't think it would take a diagnosis to change it all, my life and our friendship.

I have reached out to foundations and charities, to no avail. Outside of family, I feel very much alone in this fight. And now, I have to find somewhere to stay and try to find some sort of peace, to change my mindset. I feel so hurt by the way things have turned out.
First and foremost, prayers are a gift to me.
If you want to help in any other way, it would mean more than I can say.

This is unreal and I don't really feel so much like myself. Maybe that's why I'm doing this. I have always loved to give, not so good with receiving.
At this point, I just want good vibes and have the world hurt a little less.
