As many times as we have donated to GoFundMes and fundraisers, I never thought I would be doing this myself. Writing this and asking for help is the hardest thing I have ever had to do in my entire life.

As most of you know, my beautiful wife, my soulmate, my best friend who is also a wonderful mother and loving grandmother, has been bravely fighting breast cancer for over two years. It's been rough, yet she's the strongest woman I have ever known.

Unfortunately, she's losing the fight as the doctors have told us that Liz is approaching the end of her life. Even though no one can say for sure, her doctors told us that she has weeks, maybe months, to live. We pray that we get more time together.

We have been in and out of hospitals and rehab centers from November to the present day. I say we because I have been by her side every day during this journey and will continue to be. I applied for Paid Family Leave but made an error on the application (which I corrected last week), so I haven't received any money from them yet and am not sure when I will.

We have been living and paying our bills using our savings, which is rapidly depleting. We were not prepared for this happening so soon, nor are we financially prepared for what I must do after Liz's spirit leaves us.

So, I'm asking you to please donate so I can continue to spend Liz's final days by her side and put her body to rest when the time comes.
