I'm Svet and I'm fundraising to try and help keep my two 55yr old neighbors who have a lot of health problems and their 21yr old autistic son from becoming and staying homeless.  This family has been through enough hardships already they don't deserve to be out on the streets. Shannon and Darrin have both had multiple surgeries on their wrists and legs just to be able to get some mobility back and freedom to be able to complete normally daily living activities on their own. Plus assist their autistic son with anything he might require throughout the day. Their slumlord is selling the house and with covid happening at the same time as Darrin needing a major surgery on his spine. The landlord took the opportunity to evict them. Darrin couldn't do anymore side jobs to support his family and so they started to get behind on rent. Darrin tried applying for disability but was denied and Shannon has to stay home with their autistic son due to his high anxiety and sensory issues. They have applied for assistance from DHS and Community housing network but due to the landlord not filling out their end of the paperwork they were denied. They have tried turning to family for any kind of assistance they might be able to help them with just to get turned away and disowned. These are good people with huge hearts that would give a stranger a shirt off their own back. Please if you can help in anyway it would be greatly appreciated.
