Hello everyone, this is Eve Jin from sweet shiba desserts. First of all, I'd like to thank everyone's support for these three months since we had a soft opening at the end of January. I could remember the first time I felt frustrated about our cafe was in the middle of February, someone had intention to leave us bad reviews and yelp deleted all good reviews. The same night I posted my complaints, our first group of fans drove nearly one hour to support us and left us 5 star review on yelp. All of my deep appreciation of Orlando began from that night, that weekend, I can't believe our store was fulfilled with friends, laughs, puppies that soon. We are a family moved from New York last June, I barely knew nobody in Florida, from that weekend, I kept meeting so many nice people, shiba owners, tourists, sweet tooth, I thank everyone from the bottom of my heart, you are my source of strength and confidence even in this the hardest time ever. I promised everyone including who messaged me they would like to visit but never got a chance, I am gonna keep the store open and won't leave anywhere for them, I am still keeping my promise, but I truly need everyone's help. We need this amount to pay 2 months rent, utilities and supplies.
We can't survive long enough in this disaster without your help. I applied government aid program, but for now, we still get "0". Our bank ran out of any bridge loan fund, one company declined our ppp application cause we don't have sufficient time in business, SBA eidl has no response at all. As most of you have seen, the only two staff working in our cafe currently are my husband and I, we prepare, clean, cook, make cakes and deliver all by ourselves. I have to take my 3 year old son to the cafe or deliver with me, although I worry about his safety and health, I have to. We don't have any other family members or relatives in U.S. We did everything we could, but seems we still can't make it. I won't ask for this kind of help until the last minute.
If you can, please help us survive through this difficult time. I have a lot of plans in my mind about our cafe, which have not been put into real. You have not tasted our cheesecake and cupcakes which I do like to serve, we have not planned a puppy meet-up yet, many of you have not got a cute shiba stuffed toy yet, of course, the shiba stickers, I planned to buy more as everyone's gifts, our 15 feet long 6 feet tall shiba art has not finished yet.
We don't have gift cards available right now, I already quoted, the company said it would cost more time to make cards due to covid-19, but I would feel terrible to accept any fund for nothing. So please leave your name and choose combo number the same price as your donation amount, I will make a list with all the information, so you can come visit the store to pick up your combo anytime ( except the whole cake, which needs to give us a 3-day prior notice)
