A Cry for Help from Gaza: Life Under Bombardment and Destruction**
My name is Fadi Tamraz, and I want to share the story of my family, who are living under unbearable conditions in Gaza. The war here has left nothing but destruction, and my family is no exception.
My father is blind, and my mother is ill. They are now living in a tent after our home was completely destroyed. We lost my brother and my sister's husband in the bombings. When my brother was killed, my mother held him in her arms for 20 minutes, trying to save him, but to no avail. That moment left her in a deep state of shock from which she still suffers.
My sister is due to give birth in the coming days, but unfortunately, she has nothing of the basics that any mother in this world would need. There are no adequate hospitals to receive her, and she doesn’t even have the money to buy essentials for her unborn child.
My late brother used to help our parents, taking them wherever they needed to go. But now he is gone, leaving us in an incredibly difficult situation.
My older brother works as a nurse in a hospital, doing his best to help the injured victims of this war, but he cannot leave his work to take care of our parents because he also has a family to feed.
The situation worsens day by day, and we are surrounded by helplessness. We are in desperate need of any kind of support, no matter how small, to help us continue facing these harsh conditions
