I never imagined I would be writing something like this, but today I am reaching out with a heart that feels completely broken and helpless.

My husband, Anthony Plunkett, is only 42 years old. He is not just my partner, but my best friend, my home, and the person I am building my life with. For years, he has been strong for me. But now, he is the one who needs strength, and I am doing everything I can to fight for him.

We are currently living in Indonesia. He has been diagnosed with chronic pancreatitis, a painful and lifelong condition that affects his pancreas. The pain he goes through is something I cannot fully describe... it comes in waves, sometimes so intense that all he can do is lie still and endure it.

The nightmare started in January 2026. He started puking and had severe constant pain. I had to run him to the ER several times and getting admitted. He had to undergo an ERCP procedure on Feb 19 and the doctor placed two stents on his pancreatic duct and bile duct. Apparently, that didn't reduce his pain. So on March 6, he had to undergo serious procedures (ERCP and SpyGlass) where the doctor had to replace the stent inside his pancreatic duct to help it drain. They found many calcifications and narrowing in his pancreas, meaning this is something he will have to continue fighting.

Even after everything, he is still in pain, has many nights of no sleep.

He struggles to eat, and we now depend on nutritional drinks like Ensure just to keep his strength up.

In 2–3 months, he must undergo another procedure to remove or replace the stent. To see if the narrowing is improved. This is not optional. It is necessary.

And this is where everything feels like it is falling apart...

Our insurance has stopped covering his treatment.

We are now facing medical costs we simply cannot afford.

At the same time, we are struggling just to get through the next 2-3 months... between medications, nutrition, and basic living needs.

I feel scared every day...

Not knowing if I can provide what he needs...

Not knowing if I can keep him safe and stable...

But I refuse to give up on him.

So today, I am humbly asking for help.

Any amount you can give will go directly to:

- His upcoming medical procedures (stent removal/replacement). I have attached the estimation cost (around $9,112 not included the medications)

- Pain medications and ongoing treatment

- Daily nutritional support for his recovery

He had a plan to bring us all back to his hometown in USA to meet my new mother in law. But if the stent isn't removed and he isn't getting better, we have to see our dream also being crushed...
