Please save Ahmed and his family

I am Ahmed Obaid from Gaza, suffering from serious eye problems. Before the war began, I underwent several operations on my right eye to treat retinal detachment, but unfortunately, they were unsuccessful. Additionally, a surgery on the eye's aqueous humor was not successful either. Now, my eye is facing severe weakness; the latest operation resulted in partial vision loss due to pressure on the optic nerve and leakage of the substance used in the surgery.
As a father of two, I always strive for my children to enjoy a beautiful life filled with comfort and tranquility. However, the problem I face in my eye has greatly affected both my professional and family life. Yet, I haven't lost hope; I continue to strive to seek treatment to be a support for my family and ensure a bright future for my children. I submitted an official request for treatment abroad after examination, but unfortunately, everything came to a halt.

The war started, and all dreams and aspirations began to fade. My hope for treatment is diminishing, and everything is getting worse. Our only thought now is to escape the bombing and ensure the safety of my family. The bombardment intensified in a very strange way; the area was hit entirely with internationally prohibited white phosphorus bombs, and they began to destroy it. We left everything behind and fled; amidst the dust, I forgot that all this was negatively affecting my eye. But I didn't care at that moment; my only concern was the survival of my family and me from this barbaric and brutal bombing. We were forced to flee to the south, to the city of Khan Younis, seeking refuge in tents made of nylon that offered no protection from the cold, bombing, or rain. All of this had a negative impact on my eye, and I began to feel extreme fatigue. The surrounding conditions did not provide the appropriate environment to preserve my eyesight.
The military entered Khan Younis again, and we were forced to flee once more, this time to Rafah city. We faced difficulty in building another tent as we had left everything behind. With the help of some individuals, we managed to build a small tent.

submitted another official request for treatment abroad after examination at the European Hospital, but I have not yet received a response from the Egyptian side, putting me in a very difficult situation. I am striving desperately to save my vision and my life before it's too late, fearing that I may lose everything if there is no intervention soon.

Please, if you receive this message, I implore you to assist me in any way possible. There is no hospital in Gaza that can treat me, especially now, during this war, after most hospitals were directly targeted and destroyed. The available options outside the country seem out of reach.
I sincerely hope that my plea will be heard, and that you can provide assistance. I will be grateful for any help you can offer, and I will remain thankful to you for the rest of my life. Thank you.
Note: We chose Belgium because Palestine is not listed among the countries. Additionally, we have friends in Belgium who will assist us in withdrawing the funds.
