Hello everyone, my name is Marissa Rodriguez and I made this Go Fund me to help my dear friend Maira Martinez and her baby Maltipoo, Sophie.
A freak accident happened this past Sunday when my friend and Sophie went for their routine early morning bike ride. Sophie loves her front seat basket while my friend rides her bike. Sophie jumped out of the basket when something caught her eye, which she has never done. As she jumped out her leg was caught in the bike spoke.  She was rushed to a nearby veterinarian  hospital and soon found out she fractured her Tibia/Fibia.  Unfortunately due to high surgery costs my friends only option is to put her down which she would never want to do, as her dog is a part of her family. As her friend, I don’t want that to be her only option so I am reaching out to you to help spread the word and help by donating to save Sophie and give her the blessing of walking again. My friend has been asked by the Vets to make a decision by July 27th. She has one weeks worth of pain medication for Sophie in the meantime.
