Please pray for Gavin Timmons!

I am not even sure where to start with this story it ask me to tell, because the last 3 weeks have been such a rollercoaster and it hasn’t stopped. My nephew Gavin who is 9 started out with being sick 3 weeks ago. Diagnosed with influenza b. He developed a migraine that had him on the floor crying. Over a week of ER visits and doctor visits he couldn’t get any relief. The ER migraine cocktails just made him feel worse. He was admitted into Lutheran children’s hospital and after a couple of days of them trying many things and running many test thinking it was severe sinusitis but everything they tried would not help so they transferred him to Riley’s Children hospital. He has been there a week now and still has a migraine along with other concerns. Many many test have been done. I have lost count of how many CTs, MRIs, ultrasounds he has had on top of 2 Spinal taps. They have tried so many meds. Nothing seems to help. He has now developed other concerns with low heart rate, extreme high blood pressure, kidney issues and stomach pains. They are unsure if the new conditions are due to meds or still an underlying diagnosis they haven’t found yet. Every time they think they may be on the right track to finding an answer it doesn’t happen and something else comes up. In the mean time Gavin has been in pain this whole time and is very weak and not able to get up to walk. The main thing we ask for is prayers. Prayers these Doctors can find answers to finally help Gavin. Pray for Gavin as he has been through so much and is in so much pain. Pray for Ashley and Kole as Ashley has not left Gavin’s bedside and Kole is still trying to work, take care of the household, the other 4 kids at home and travel to be with Gavin as much as possible. I have learned that Riley’s has a parking fee and does not provide meals for the parents staying with their children. Ashley being a waitress does not have any income while being off work to be with Gavin and with the extra expenses they now have with Gavin being at Riley’s they could use some help. If you feel led to help in anyway it is appreciated but the most important thing we ask for is prayers!
