Please pray and donate to help John Smith

Hi, my name is Tim and I am asking for help for my friend John Smith. John grew up on a farm in Statesboro Georgia so you can imagine what an active life he has always had. He's a graduate from Georgia, Southern, and one of the best ATO brothers ever. That's how I met John.

John fell 10/24/23 in the yard and broke his neck when his head hit the side of their RV. He was taken to East GA Medical then air lifted to Memorial Trauma Center in Savannah GA. He is paralyzed from the shoulders down. There was a time when it was not certain he was going to make it. It’s been a roller coaster ride for sure. The hope is John will soon be transferred to Brooks Rehab Hospital in Jacksonville FL.

Being paralyzed as he is you can imagine the issues he and wife Carole will face ahead. Besides the great medical expenses, Carole has had to travel between Statesboro and Savannah as they have four Therapy dogs that need caring for. When he reaches Brooks Rehab, even though Carole will be able to stay with him some, those expenses will increase. On top of that, when John goes home, extensive renovations to their home will be required to accommodate his new life.

I know I speak for all who know and love John when I say we thank you for your prayers, love and kindness. We pray for one of the Lord’s miracles.
