Please help Phoenix the baby Mustang

Hello, my name is Christine. I've been gentling wild Mustangs and finding them new homes for 4 years.
I adopted a 13 year old mare this year whom was known as Hurricane Hattie on the range, as well as her 5 year old daughter Pistol Annie from the South Steens herd management area in Oregon. Both mares have been followed since birth by many photographers, and are very well known and loved by all.
Hattie and Annie arrived at my home in Montana from Oregon on my birthday, February 18th.
Since arriving, I've worked on gentling both mares and have absolutely fallen in love. They'll be with me forever.
Annie foaled suddenly in the early morning of March 1st, in the snow, in teen degree weather. Her colt then made it over 60 feet into a pen of other wild horses, where I found him hypothermic.
Myself and an amazing group of friends worked for hours to warm him, get him up and eating. Once up, we reunited him with his mom, but he was too weak to nurse and could not get back up once he fell down.
As good as Annie is being, she wont allow us in the stall to help him, so we had to remove him again, as he became cold.
We again worked to warm him and get him feeling better. He wasn't as perked up so we took him to the vet.
Fluids and vitamins were given, an IGG test run which came back very poor, plasma administered and many other medications. His chem panel was also run and blood work was good, other than liver enzymes were slightly elevated.
Hes drinking from a bucket like a champ, peeing, pooping and getting stronger by the hour.
Today his breathing was off so I took him for a check up. IGG test was rerun, with it being perfect. The plasma did its job. However, his liver enzymes were even worse today.
My veterinary clinic does not have the knowledge or tools to do diagnostics and figure out what is wrong with his liver. They also can not perform procedures that may be needed.
After speaking to the internal medicine veterinarians at Washington State University, all agree it is in he's best interest to go there for evaluation and treatment, preferably while he is bright and alert and doing well for his best chance of recovery.
I haven't slept and barely eaten in 2 days. I'm treating and feeding him around the clock. I'm doing all I can, only to find out I may have to just let him go.
Please help him if you can. Every dollar matters.
The university won't treat him unless they have a deposit of $4500 to get started. It's a 5 hour drive over there, and it's winter roads. Time is of the essence for this young man.
Please help me share his story. Please help me save baby Phoenix. These Mustangs mean the world to me.
