On July 10th 2022 Mike Steele was involved in an unfortunate motorcycle accident after attending a motorcycle run for a local Veteran. Mike is a part of a ride group called the Guardian Riders. This particular group was created to support active duty and retired Veterans within the state of CT. Mike was traveling down the road when he had to quickly yield for a Police officer approaching from behind who was responding to another call. However, when doing so he then saw a vehicle that was pulled over that he was heading straight for. Mike tried to quickly maneuver around the parked car as well as not trying to sideswipe the oncoming Police Officer. In doing so Mike unfortunately lost control of his motorcycle and ended up crashing the bike. He slammed into the front fairing, then went head first over the front of the bike, the bike then landed on him and continued to skid down the road as did Mike. He was life stared to the nearest hospital. While wearing a helmet…..Mike sustained a brain bleed, fractured skull, multiple broken ribs, a broken clavicle, a fractured scapula, road rash, and other minor injuries.
Mike is a a dedicated husband to his wife Rheanna and son Everett. He’s committed to his work to provide anything and or everything he can for his family. Mike is an all around stand up great guy. He’s the one you can count on in a time of need. Mike helps anyone he can so the Guardian Riders are asking for everyone’s help for him and his family.
With Mike being out of work and probably will be for some time and Rheanna working less hours to be able to spend the necessary time with him, money will start to become short. Between the life star ride and the hospital stay, there will be a slew of medical bills coming their way.
Please! The Guardian Riders are asking for anyone that would be generous to donate to this cause to help out Mike and he’s family. Every little bit helps. The money will be going towards hospital deductibles and bills along with being able to keep things afloat for the house.
So please consider donating for Mike and his family. The Guardian Riders want to do our best to try and take some ease off the family. Every little bit will help. Thank you everyone in advance for taking the time to read this and any possible donations that come through
