On Friday, Jan 5, Micheal was not feeling well and was rushed to the ER by ambulance. Soon after they arrived at the ER, things turned for the worse. Due to diabetic ketoacidosis, Micheal had a severe seizure, which caused him to have a cardiac arrest. Nurses began to resuscitate him, and after 15 minutes, they told the family they could not do anything and that the family should say their final goodbye. However, Micheal's mom did not give up on him, so she begged the nurse to continue and not give up; fortunately, the nurse continued another CPR, and after 40 minutes, his heart started to pump. Although his heart began to beat, he was not breathing, which put him in a coma. After five days in a coma, Micheal miraculously woke without any major organ damage, only with fractured ribs due to intensive resuscitation. This was purely God's work; after 17 days of hospital admissions, Micheal is now recovering at home; though the worst is gone, the road to his recovery is far, and unfortunately, the medical bills have piled up, and the family is struggling to cover the expenses.
