Please lend a helping hand to Fatima and the kids

Hello, my name is Adriana, and I am starting a Gofundme for my sister in law Fatima Diazibarra. Many of you know her story, but let me tell you a bit of her backstory for those who don't. Fatima is 39 yrs old; She was diagnosed with stage 4 non-small cell lung cancer in July of 2021; it spread to her lymph nodes and chest, which was slowly making it hard to breathe. She had been doing several treatments like chemo, immunotherapy, and radiation. On April 7th, Fatima had to get emergency surgery to clear her airways temporarily. She has not been able to work due to her doctor putting her on permanent disability.

Her last radiation was April 18, and chemo was back in October of 2021. Fatima will be starting chemo back up again in a couple of days. I know it has been a very stressful moment for her having to worry about rent, bills, and groceries. She has applied for social security, but that can take months to process. So in the meantime, We ask for support for bills, groceries, necessities for the family and any other expenses that may come about so she and her family can focus entirely on her recovery and healing.

We also ask that you uplift Fatima in your prayers. She is a strong woman, and I know she is carrying a lot of weight on her shoulders, but even the strongest woman needs a little help sometimes. Like my grandma always says “Hoy por ti, mañana por mí”
