i have been regretting doing this, but I am up for eviction. Any assistance I will consider a loan. My landlord sent me an eviction notice after refusing to sign paperwork for public assistance this past summer. I wish they would have addressed this sooner. I have a good portion of what I owe and am reapplying for what I am eligible for and will request that agencies contact them directly.

I have chronic Lyme disease which prevents me from working. Anyone who knows me well would know that I usually would have at least two jobs in addition to social activism. I am currently in a “boarding” living situation with three wonderful men who are more like family. It’s hard for me to get up our staircase and they always help me with carrying laundry, etc. up and down. We don’t have a living room or kitchen. We share a bathroom, that sink (fortunately deep stainless steel) serves as our bathroom sink and kitchen sink. I could not imagine better housemates.

I have been going through the disability process and the entire neighborhood is very supportive. Days that I can walk “well” it is acknowledged, never a negative word. I often go for weeks where I can not get out of bed. I am essentially blind and scheduled for operations beginning late April. With the illness I very often cannot eat or drink. The vomiting becomes painful. I have to use a small cart to grocery shop and I have a bruised rib from leaning on a shopping cart that was too big. I use a cane when needed and have my rock climbing tricks for getting around. My legs have atrophy but I am determined to never be in a wheelchair, sez this person who could once do 50 mile bike rides. I am doing a Disability appeal. If I were to work anything over two hours and a few weeks isn’t possible. Details spared.

I will continue with my disability appeal and such. I am not far from state retirement, working in education and government. When disability/social security comes through I will be able to pay back any loans that I am requesting through this platform.

Buddha: “look not to the faults of others, nor to their omissions or commissions. But rather look to your own acts, to what you have done and left undone.”

I have much left to do. Please help.
