I want to introduce you to Rudy Conde. He is our grandkids' Bonus Dad. Rudy, Vanessa, Riana, Isaiah, Lexie, Aiden and Ethan have been a blended family for the last ten years.

Our family has a sincere respect and admiration for the love, security and constant support that Rudy has exhibited with all his family throughout the years.

Approximately 14 days ago Rudy began having issues with his peripheral vision and within days was experiencing challenges with his speech. Vanessa took him to the ER where an MRI revealed a large mass in his brain. He was immediately admitted to an Austin Area Hospital and placed on high doses of steroids to reduce the swelling in his brain.

A few days later Rudy underwent a very serious brain surgery to remove 90% of the mass which was the size of an orange. There is a chance that Rudy will require a second surgery and possibly radiation. Rudy is currently recovering at home and will be unable to work or drive for at least a minimum of six weeks. With Rudy being their sole provider after Vanessa was forced to leave the workforce when Ethan went into Severe Heart Failure, Rudy’s absence from work will have a huge impact on their household.

Please know that 100% of donations will go to Rudy, Vanessa and their family as they navigate this season in their life. Your donation of any amount will be a blessing to their family.
