Miss Jen’s Go Fund Me

As you may have heard Jen Sennett Franklin has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer and will be undergoing surgery and ongoing treatment beginning May 24th. 

Jen grew up and has raised her three beautiful children in this area, now she dedicates her life to bringing music to people across our community. If you have the pleasure of knowing Jen and her beautiful spirit, you know she is such a talented musician. She has focused her talents and passions to educating young and old in the practice and appreciation of music.

The brilliant tapestry of her current work includes teaching students music in preschools, Elmira Elementary, Veneta Elementary, FRSD Summer School, Lane Arts Council, and private lessons for young people and adults. Although Jen LOVES these various jobs and working with aspiring musicians, she has had to pause this work to attend to her own health and family at this trying time.

Tom, her ever supportive, amazing, badass partner, has been working to build out a shed to create her a teaching studio which she hopes to use to continue some of her work from home while undergoing treatment. The opportunity to continue doing the work that brings her so much joy will no doubt contribute to her healing.

In order to make this a reality she will need support from us, the community she has poured her life’s passion and love into for decades.
