Hello everyone,
My name is Kathryn. I am not very good at putting my thoughts onto paper so to speak, but i will try. Over the last year my health has declined so much that I was fired from my job that I’ve had for 3 years. It was understandable as I was not able to work more than an hour a day by the time I was let go. In the last year I have been diagnosed with postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome. I have been to the ER multiple times because of the fainting, and now I am being tested for Addison’s disease as an underlying condition. Due to my not being able to work I have been told I must move out of my current residence now. He said he doesn’t want to start an eviction as I am a veteran, but he will be forced to if I’m still here in February. I have found an apartment; however, I do not have the funds to hire movers and other expenses. I have always been an extremely independent woman, no matter how bad things got for me I never asked for help. But today, I am desperate. I got help for my security deposit from the VA. But because of my condition, and the fact that my current apartment is on the second floor, I am not physically capable of doing the move myself, like I have always done, as the constant activity will cause tachycardia, blood pressure and possible fainting issues. I had my daughter and her boyfriend that were going to help me move last week, however, they have covid and a bacterial infection both of which are contagious which is dangerous for me to be around. So now i am forced to find funds to help get movers and help with other expenses.
