Hi, im Sarah, friend of Jason, tennille and boys.
In march our Jason went for his annual health check with his doctor, his only complaint was that he was feeling slightly tired. Our lives changed that day. Jason was rushed straight into hospital where basiclly he hasnt left since and wont be able to return to work for the next 2-3 years.
The realisation that our lives were about to take a bumby ride with jasons diagnosis of Acute lymphoblastic leukaemia. Jasons beautiful partner couldnt help but think that "they'd be homeless before Jason gets out of hospital".
With the blow by blow account of what doctors were throwing at them was just about too much to take.
Jason has been through multiple rounds of chemo and hes currently in the gold coast hospital awaiting a stem cell transplant.

When you receive tragic news like this you think that there are organisations like the cancer council etc that help people like our dear laing family....
Unfortunately there's no funds to tap into from any organisation.

We are asking you all to help with anything you can spare and most importantly if you are able to share this page. If a lot of people help with a little bit, then it lessons the load for tennille, that cant work as she needs to be by jasons side.

Tennilles elderly parents have had to drop tools and relocate and move in, to help with the day to day care of Jason and tennilles 2 young children. Hunter 11 and Jayden 4 are doing well and trying to be strong for their parents.

Jason is a kiwi and isn't entitled to any monetary help here in Australia. Jason is the type of man to give you the shirt off his back. We ask again if you can dig deep for Jason. Jason has never had his hand out ever and has worked everyday of his life so this "asking for help" doesnt sit right with him. But he also knows how hard and how fast the bills are pouring in while the 2 of them cant work. His beautiful family and friends appreciate you all. They have no other options but to rely on the kindness of others.
